OK I have gone through about 20 different search posts and have found a lot of info on fabing up replacement mufflers for the 308's but I was tring to find out what side feeds what bank. So my simple question is if you look from the rear of the car are the right exhaust tips fed from the rear (1-4 , back of the car) cyl. bank and the left tips fed from the front (cockpit 5-8) bank. This is a non-cat 77 GTB. Thanks

I am a shade tree mechanic at best but what I would do is remove a spark plug, put my finger over the hole, turn the engine untill I felt the compression stroke, then turn the engine 3/4 turn past TDC so that the exhaust valve is open, then blow compressed air in the cylinder and listen.
I am sure someone will have a reason why this would cause the engine to explode.

The Ansa blends the two flows internally through baffles. But they generally flow more exhaust out one side, the left IIRC, than the right side.

+1; from what I have seen they are blended.

Correct they dump into the can and "cross flow" on the ANSA so it 's not as you describe at all......

Interesting because I have a slight lean miss in the right hand exhaust tips only so I wanted to see if it was due to 1 carb or extender. Thanks for the info. I'll just have to sort it out , it's intermittent and is more noticable after the motor is up to temp. OK I'll just need to do some fishing. Thanks
