I've applied wrinkle paint plenty of times on valve covers etc. I have an older Ansa exhaust that just requires some new tips (which I have) to be welded on. One set of tips is finished with the wrinkle paint and the other is flat. So I'd like to paint the rear muffler sections and the tips all in wrinkle black. Is the over the counter stuff like VHT etc. good enough or is there some special alternative high heat version for this? I've always used a self etching primer and just over the counter wrinkle paint in a can on valve covers etc. This part of the exhaust is all the way at the rear of the car, the last two feet. Thanks.
