Allen at Lambo Boston gave us a tour of the store on Saturday when a fellow FChatter and I dropped in. Here are some visual aids to answer the question of how much does the front end get raised? Also a pic of the SV they just got...more pics here if anyone is interested (Doh! The title should of course be Question and not Quesiton):

If you look at the gap in fenderwell the lift is substantial.

I *love* the front-end lift on my Gallardo. The only time I've ever scraped or banged the front end is when I forgot to hit the lift button.

    The lift is two inches.

How about the 'what the hell' looks from other drivers when you're trying to pull into a parking and have to slow down or stop while raising the nose...I'm surprised I haven't been rear ended!

Slow down? Not if you plan for the driveway and hit the button before you get there. You don't have to stop to raise/lower the front end. If you leave it up, at 30MPH it'll lower automatically. Presumably, you can raise it at any speed under 30MPH.

    It's a great system.

Now, on my F430 I really need to slow-down to enter many driveways... it's in this car I'm more afraid of getting hit from behind as I crawl over the entry.
