I found a vintage semi-automatic antenna to replace the missing unit in my car. What's challenging is that the antenna is pretty long, and hits the base where the ECU and Thermocouple plate that's mounted on the passenger side. There is almost no room to mount the antenna unless it's at an angle which then doesn't look right. Did the cabrio cars or ECU cars use a different antenna? Or is there a mounting trick that I'm missing. Thanks!

Were they mounted at an angle or straight up? There is just no room in there for both the Arial and the ECU.
The antenna on this t Cab comes up at an angle as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have the original antenna which looks like the drawing. This is also a Bosch part. https://www.allferrariparts.com/pn61717900id261975.html It looks like the part number posted is what the original number supersedes to. This unit does look different, but probably would fit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-Part-66235900-RADIO-AERIAL-aftermarket/153829571932?epid=2112988580&hash=item23d0f4fd5c:g:0WEAAOSw7t9eQw5a A good maintenance tip is to spray some WD-40 on a rag, and wipe it on the antenna when it's fully up. This will allow smoother operation, and put less stress on the antenna motor. I've also had the unit come loose from the mounting, so make sure it's in there tight.
There are 2 mounting points for the antenna. On the bottom of the assembly, there should be a stud coming out that fits to a support bracket. And the top where it goes through the hole in the fender. There is about 1 inch of clearance between the ECU and the antenna assm. The Mondial 8 drawings shows the bracket. I'm pretty sure the bracket on the newer cars is different, but I don't see it in any of the drawings. Mondial 8 drawings: https://www.allferrariparts.com/tbl13895.html
