COTA did a very nice set up, even my 15 yo and her friends were impressed...for kids that have pretty much everything, that is saying something (PitBull Concert did help

 

National Anthem sung by 17 yr old, The Voice, contestant. Excellent job!

 

The helicopter shot from on top of the tower was pretty impressive on TV.

 

Pitbull put on a pretty good show.

 

I have been to Silverstone, Spa, Monaco, Canada, Hungaroring. I am pretty sure they played the local anthem at those. Maybe they just don't show it on TV.

 

She's great. She's from right here in cypress, tx.

 

If they do its probably not picked up in other market feeds.

Silverstone was always the Beefeaters (the dudes in silly hats )

I assume they still do it.

The mighty TV generally goes to ad's at that stage though.

But yeah, they always play the hosts anthem ahead of the race.

Well at least they play something other than the Seb song BEFORE the race.

 

Yeap all races have it. Before the international feed starts (5mins before the start of the race) the TV stations run the show with their local feeds/use SKY so they pick n choose what they show their local audiences.

That's why you have guys from NBC/SKY/BBC/insert local tv station running around with cameras interviewing everyone.

 

+1 one of the best shots put on TV this year actually. Very impressive.

 

Mrs V coined the "Seb theme song" for their anthem, right?
