    Hi all,

Does anyone use the anti flat spot ramps when storing cars?
They are pricey and make sence. On the other side of the token,
I see pro shops just overinflate the tires just a bit and things
    seem to work out.

    Simply wondering.

Inflating the tires slightly more will help. Putting a one foot section of 1-2" thick styrofoam underneath the tire will accomplish the same thing as those "flat spot" ramps.

I've stored modern sports cars for up to 13 months, no flat spots.

I use the Race Ramps Flat Stoppers product under my 360 during storage. Very well made, and they do the job they have promised. Pricey, yes, but that's part of the territory.

A quick 30 minute drive in the country gets rid of flat spots.

Flat spots definitely are created through long storage (winter), as evident from pushing the car a bit around. You then feel the spots as a light hesitation (not due to other factors). I did at last, even with overinflating the tires.

On the other hand, I never noticed the spots when driving (the first drive with the overinflated tires, then correction to the proper value).

In some winters I use such ramps and in some not. In the latter case I pushed the cars around a small bit every one or two months.

I do not know, however, whether the investment really made sense, but I like to believe so :D

I have two cars that are rarely driven in winter, especially this winter. I usually do a twenty minute warm up drive at around 45 mph. I have noticed that the flat spots disappear after that run. I would not buy the ramps.
