    Jumping in here... So, it sounds like AG is the only battery with the restart feature ? Has anybody looked around for an alternative at a lower cost ?

    I dont know about AG but, LM (lithiummoto ) has them; , 70Ah with remote wireless FOB 2ndStart feature for less than AG

    Bumping an old thread… hope it’s ok.

    I read through here and my takeaway is:

    even with an AG battery you still have to put it on tender even if driven weekly (president of AG stated “1-2 weeks”) OR you have to drive it an extended period of time each week. Sorry if I missed it I don’t think it was mentioned here but what does extended period of time mean? Hours? 5 miles/10/20?
    Just an idea thanks

    No charging for 1 to 2 weeks will take 5 to 10 minutes on the highway and the AG charges back up 100%. At this point, the AG is a must for the 458.

    mine drops to 11.1 before it automatically goes to sleep

    11.1 is enough to start it back up for me, your mileage may vary

    If you CANT start with 11 volts, that's probably a symptom of something bigger.
