cant see the feet of the chair, castors or claw balled they also used to be called "nursery chairs" what ever price your dealer quotes double,
you aren't very old and obviously don't know the value of anything , sit back and learn something before you open your gob .... there's an old saying , you can sit there and be quiet and look stupid or you can open your mouth and confirm it ....
i couldnt give a **** if i was a multi millionaire, i wouldnt spend 10k ona chair that looks like that, you cant accuse me of saying that chair is a piece of ****, people have different taste, to me its a piece of **** to others its a piece of art.
firstly the title of thread is a hint ANTIQUE secondly it may be not your taste, but it has a worth and appreciating investment value based on the fact its probably older than 150 years HAND MADE BY ARTISANS and long after you have chucked your pine warehouse comfy chair in the bin it will be worth more than it was today. that is why its worth 7 -10K
yep and its my piece of **** owes me about 1500 bucks, nice little return on me money. The wonderful thing about Antiques is not only do you get to enjoy them ,but on the way they can increase in value. Unlike modern .... that is worth nothing after a few years.
Its those "Buy now before the day goes" adds your agents were so fond of back in the '50s. Caused all sorts of confusion that's still going on.
Ye youve got a good point, but im just trying to say to me its nothing special but thats GEN Y for you i grew up with technology and ultra modern
yeah, and we all grew up rubbing two sticks together to make fire I'm still waiting for Gen Y to learn how to write decent software .... they're SO smart they can't get code to run on a machine with less than 4GB of memory and a 100exabyte disk !!
