I don’t have a music server either. No multi room either. The BS interface is probably fine with a Tidal.

So just got round to listening to this playlist, sounds great! My ayon s-10 went bust last night so I just plugged the pixel into the asr running mconnect light and it sounds great, possibly better then the s10 signature that costs 20 times the price

I wouldn't think so, but you might check eBay. Not much was ever recorded in that format to listen to and demand never took off. I remember they were pricey back in the day.

It is a Panasonic. Not sure about model. It had a removable 8-track quadraphonic player. I had an amplifier that went in your car with four speakers. The player slid into the amp with four volume controls. One for each channel and speaker. I still have some quadraphonic records. I lost the 8 track player and quadraphonic tapes

    Hello,
Years ago I worked in a stereo shop back in the 70s. I could never forget one particular system I set up in the main listening room.
Consisted of two S. Marantz model 15’s set up to biamp a pair of ADC L910 Studio Monitors through an SAE 4000 active crossover. The sweet sound just stuck in my head for over 30 some years. While not my main man cave system I decided to duplicate that original setup with completely restored as new that system for my living room. I acquired the speakers and had all the drivers rebuilt with new components by Richard So (original engineer of them). Then acquired two model 15’s third iteration and had them completely rebuilt at quite an expense and over a good bit of time. I tried a SAE 4000 xover but ended up using a modified Beringer xover.
The sound is as superb now as it was then.
Worth every penny. Oh I should add and forgot to mention this all went through a S.marantz model 7t preamp (also rebuilt) like the original system. I’d love to post a picture but haven’t a clue on this new site.

Just figured out how to post pictures.. above is main system. Doesn’t fit in one picture. Collected over 40 years all restored by me. Just realized that these are older pictures. Preamp on left was a temp while DL-2 Crown preamp and power supply where on the bench getting caps replaced.
