Any 288 GTO's for sale?

Despite several F40's for sale, and a couple of F50's and a few Enzos, I haven't seen one single 288GTO for sale in a long time. Has anyone heard of any?

 

Again, I would use just 2 words to describe this variant's market. This time, the words would be: Seller's market.

There are one or two available, but they are unadvertised, as you have noted in your post.

 

Joe any idea what 288 are asking in the current scenario?

That car is in Japan most likely. Market is 750-800 for GTOs right now - I had 3 people try and buy mine at Cavallino this year, there are probably only 20 in the US right now as a number of cars are believed to have gone back to Europe.

 

let's see if we can figure out how many; I know of three, yours, one that belongs to the main owner of faf and one that belongs in north carolina to a client of foreign cars italia. I recently saw that car in Asheville at a Ferrari event. So that is three, someone chime in please.

 

They could well be as high as that, which is great news.

I'll keep hold of mine for a bit longer - it only has 6000km!!

 

I recently saw 1 in Mineola NY, but I have no idea who the owner is. I have a couple of pictures on my cell phone but suck with computers and would have no clue how to post them.

Was on FChat maybe 9 months ago? Maybe the owner passed away? Was like $750k?

The one stated as being in the USA is actually in Japan as Dan360 correctly surmises. Of the four, one is not a GTO (but rather a 1977 308 race car modeled in some fashion on a GTO). The one in Hong Kong asks $850,000 last we checked...

 

2 in Colorado. I dont know who ownes them or anything, But im pretty sure 2 are here. 1 in Aspen and 1 in Denver area

the No. 12 car that we saw in asheville at the grove park inn, right? I don't see how this car could ever be driven on the streets...looks quite illegal for some reason.
