Just wondered if anyone was interested in some spring drive outs?

I'm in Ashbourne, so give it a few weeks for Ladybegood to get all friendly with your new QV and lets pick a pub and a route?

would also be worth joining the FOC and then get in touch with your area group, most areas have a decent calendar of events.

You're right to post here. 308 owners are a bit different from your usual F owners. I used to be a member but got bored. Do they have a decent forum yet?

Agree completely, Fchat is the place to be. How about a few photos of the GTSi and for that matter ladybegood's new QV? Saying that if he was picking he car up today its all snow and sleet, that would be fun! At least we have got rid of the salt.

Hi,I`m not close to the peak district but I think a seperate UK 308 get togethers might be a good idea as Ive also found the owners to be not quite the same as those of the more modern cars.

Bertspeed, I was looking for a diplomatic way of putting it and you've found the perfect phrase. :)

OK, sounds like we better get something organised then. What about a drive through the Peaks (start at one of the many great pubs) and culminating at Donington with a 308 only track day?

    Who's game?

Hi sounds good some great pubs to pick from, it will take me a while before i'm confident to throw her rounds some bends on a circuit though.

My sons car packed up on the M1 on Sunday, so got a lift on a RAC flat bed to pick up the QV and on the way back the drivers wiper blade fell off in the torrential rain, luckily turned off straight away so no ssrious scratch on the windscreen.

plenty of little things to do but first impressions really nice engine and handling.

Oh I have driven a QV round Goodwood, it scared me!!

wiper a fiver from local factors, next a replacement rubber connection between air box from superperformance.

That sounds like a pick you wont forget, glad she is now in safe hands. Now the fun, all those little jobs you can 't wait to get stuck into.

Could minus the track, mine has not seen a track yet either, Pub - Peaks - Donington Museum?

Either way would be great to get a few of us out on the roads for a little 308 Peak Tour.

    Any pics?

Great, that's two of us, Ladybegood, bertspeed, sp1der?

Once we have an idea of numbers all we need to do is pin down a pub and a date.
