    Gang,

I'm curious to get some perspectives from folks that have done the Fabspeed upgrade to CF airboxes w/BMC filters and silicon hoses. Looks like -- intuitively anyway -- to be a reasonable mod that should help the 355 breath better and increase overall performance. I am, however, hearing some mixed reviews of removing the resonator box. Part of the mod involves removing the resonator and capping it off.

For $1,500 it seems like a decent upgrade. Thoughts? opinions? Feedback?

    thanks all.

that bread box is useless.. theres no purpose for it at all.. its just an empty box connected to the intake. so to cap it off is fine..

what is it that you heard, that is not good to do this..?

the CF air boxes do look alot better.. and smoother on the insides.. the stock airboxs have hard edges on the insides... likely very poor for airflow..

regarding the red hoses.. I dont see how it would have any added benefit..

Has something to do with pulse waves keeping them smother for the intake. My gues is its there for a reason. Did lots of experimenting with air boxes on super bikes and if using the stock air boxes my guess is it helps. If your changing the intake anyway then who knows unless you dyno if it would change anything.
