I am trying to make some decals for a 1/16 project I am working on. I now have a good shot of the emblems on the rear of a Countach but how do I convert them into an image to print out? When I use the live trace option it converts the whole picture into some wierd blob, is there a good way to outline just the emblems and get rid of the rest of the picture? I am using Illustrator CS2 and have no clue how to use this. Thanks.

    Mike.

Yeah, it's what I use for anything photo related. Not sure about illustrator, though live trace sounds interesting :)

Open up the picture in Photoshop and use the "extract" feature to trace the image you want to keep. Save the image as a .jpg, full resolution, and print it out that way.

    This will explain it.
