I think he meant that most babies under 2 are photographed almost nude anyway for diaper ads etc.

This segment of the industry has had a few rather notorious money-grubbers. In short, find a talent agency, not a management agency. Talent agencies rely upon commissions and follow up on breakdowns. Management agencies get monthly fees in addition to whatever else they can think of to charge for along with the rare commission for the rare gig, as breakdowns are followed up on way too late.

I recently had some full nudes of my son done. He loved it so much he peed all over their setup. It was pretty funny because in the shot of him after he peed he had a huge smile on his face.

Personally I woudn't touch that Biz with a pole. The whole John Benet Ramsey thing just gives me bad vibes about kids in modelling business, plus it is probably full of pervs.

 

Make sure your wife wants to make a career of traipsing your kid all over town.

Plus, they are mostly after twins.

 

We were approached by an agency. The offer was we pay them $7,000 to promote us. We must be available to travel within hours notice and make the kid wear mittens at all times so they do not scratch their face ever. I said, no thank you. Ohh I forgot, some babies make " alot of money", like maybe $10,000/year. Of course you need new photos every three months. Its a scam.

From what I hear, it becomes a FULL TIME JOB for the PARENT(S).

Many people have suggested we put our kids in modeling ('cause they ARE the most beautiful kids in the WORLD! ) LOL! No way. It's a lot of work for very little compensation other than, perhaps, living vicariously through your kids' "success." Naaaaaaaa... I'd rather our kids live a NORMAL life, and we don't need the $.
