yeah - conan is hilarious. very original and I too look forward to him replacing Jay Leno in a couple of years.
Leno said he would retire by 2010. But it sucks for me because I turn 18 in 2010 and I want to go see the Tonight Show Live with Jay Leno
Hate Conan. Love leno. It's ok though cause the best late night talk show on tv comes on at 1130. That show is The Colbert Report. Anyone who disagrees is on notice.

Conan is a very gifted comedian and writer - I love his stuff because it is so edgy. He is a terrible interviewer and he always goes for the gag derailing the interview; his agenda is mostly not about the guest unlike Carson who was totally about the guest. I do not think he will translate well to the Tonight show, but hope he stays in some venue with his incredible creativity.
I always liked Leno... right up until the very moment he took over the Tonight show. I remember that show so clearly, I was looking forward to it and found it to be a huge disapointment. Like he aged 40 years over night, it was the same sanitized stale show that Johnny had left behind. I hope that doesn't happen with Conan, who I think is hilarious. Some of their skits are really stupid, but Conan shines in the interviews, he is so quick witted and funny on the spot. I do miss Andy and thought the show would suck without him, but Conan has done a great job carrying on the show by himself.
