A friend just placed an order on a Saphire Blue on Saddle with a February delivery date. 9-Spoke wheels w/o chrome. Any opinions/advice on the car?

I saw one at crystal cove on saturday, there weren't very many people looking at it. this one was black with black hre's or kinesis wheels. it didn't do much for me, the enzo and the cizeta stole the show. not that I could even come close to buying the bently. I don't know if it even drew enough attention to get it's picture taken, you can look at the so cal section it may be there. or post your question in that section. I'm sure most have seen one.

In real life, it's quite disapoiting IMO. The car has a truck stance, and its lines are massive but it lacks the raceyness of the older Continental.

I don't yet own one as mine wont be delivered til March, but that being said, Ive driven them several times and I find it quite a superb touring car.

Creature comforts, exceptional ride, handling to be expected of such a large car with a comfortable ride but even better than my bimmer (which handles pretty damn well) and power that never gives up. It sounds like a beast and an angel at the same time.

Aesthetically, I think its perfect. Its cool enough that it attracts any attention you might want, yet subdued enough to not draw all the attention from everyone. I like the fact that aside from the logos and the grill, you cant really tell its a Bentley. It has definate audi influences, but the fit, finish, hides, etc are all Bentley.

My only complaint so far is AM radio reception. If I could get Chris Baker on satellite, id be delighted.

Spot on, excellent description. Bentley have done a superb job with the exhaust note, as it growls a bit on start-up and when pushed, but doesn't hum annoyingly at speed.

Had one as my wedding car! Belongs to my best mates Dad. Fantastic car! If I could live with 13mpg, I'd have one! Oh, and I'd need to rob a bank to pay for it in the first place! ;)

Great desctription Gentry. I have driven 5 or 6. All have been super smooth and great driving cars. Remeber, this is a Bentley first and foremost, not a Ferrari. Secondly, its design is that of a cross between the Sporty Cont. and a Arnage.
The AWD is great in a car of its size. It really comes to life on Mtn. Roads. I just wished we were closer to the snow to drive one in the weather it performs so well in compared to any other car in its class.
