There are two that I know of. The Jag Shop and ATD/Harold's. Also, I wouldn't rule out Tonkin (the dealer)-- they are pretty reasonable as well. I'd certainly give them a call or stop by.

Craig at The Jag shop is very good. He used to service Tonkin Sr.s fleet of Ferrari's, and my 95 348 Spider.

Contact Mike at Pro-Tek Automotive off NE Sandy and 17th, near Voodoo Donuts. He's been servicing my 2004 F1 360 (and Bimmer) for years. I see plenty of F cars and Lambos in there all the time.

    Hi,
the Jag shop seems to have closed down.
Where is ATD/Harold's? Can't find anything under ATD or Harold on Google... any hints appreciated : )

(I am new to Portland with my 308GTB)

Botta Moto Works at SW corner of North Interstate Avenue and Ainsworth in North Portland always seems to have Ferraris, Lambos, BMWs, and other exotics/sports cars in for service. I've had them hand wash my 488 GTB a couple of times, and they've done nice jobs with that. Owner and staff are friendly and seem knowledgeable.

I don't think Harold's is still doing Italian cars any more-- their Italian car guy now works out of his house, and I don't think he's taking on new business.

I would probably look at Avant Garde, and I would also not rule out Ron Tonkin. They do quite a bit of work on older cars, and I have always had good experiences there.

I don't know whether Avant Garde takes on much outside business, but you can ask.

Since I assume you are talking about me, where was your Mondial engine ruined? Tonkin or Avant Garde?

Thanks for the replies... maybe Tonkin is the way to go then.
That is also where my 308 was originally sold and serviced in the 70'ies... : )

There's an amazing place way up in Seattle area
Mark Glenwood at 7 Lakes Motorsports is an absolute rock star!
He has helped me with two Ferrari's - Mondial T and a California
My recommendation is based on real work and results.
To me it's worth the travel to find someone of his caliber.

Yes, Jim has been gone from Harold's for at least a couple years. IIRC he's set-up in Ridgefield, WA which obviously isn't as convenient as Downtown PDX for most of us. Unfortunately, the one experience I had at Harold's after he left did not encourage me to make another visit, so I too am looking for a new shop.
@docster Does Botta work on older V-8 cars? I drive by their shop fairly often and see newer exotics there, but have yet to see anything older than a 360.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some 3x8s there in the past, Dave, but can't swear to it...
