Any DYIers apply one of the new coatings?

    Just got done with applying 2 coats of Gyeon Mohs to my 2005 CTSV, did the entire car plus doors and door openings. I spent several hours using my Griots garage random orbital buffer with their #3 polish. The paint was pretty beat-up and I could have probably been more aggressive with the paint correction but all in all I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I guess the real test will be to see how long it lasts, but if it lasts like it is supposed to I’m going to throw out all of my other waxes and sealants and just use this for everything.

    Fourteen months ago I did a two stage paint correction and then coating with Kamikaze ISM Coat and Kamikaze Overcoat. The results were fantastic and so far looks just like when it was first done. I use Overcoat every time I wash the car and occasionally as a quick detailer. The deep shine of my rubino 360 just pops out when I do this.

    I'm with you. Think my waxing days are over.
