I have a good connection out there that I never use, but due to the Prince's recent death, several locations will be closed "out of respect, rememberance and reflection of the royal family's long time support of Formula 1". My hook up is one of them...

if you stay in monaco the hotel usually has veiwing..(Mirabeau, Loews, Paris etc.) the cafes are cool spots as well as the "Hill" were all the fans hang and watch...if you really care about seeing the race..forget the yachts..you won't get a good view unless you want to hang out in a small crows nest for hours and the real big yachts with good view tend to be too far out. Place is packed and very hard to get around so pick yor place wisely as you may get stuck and have to stay put. Local friends apartments and businesses are often the best (and cheapest) places. Every year I go I make the same resolution -- "Next year...bring more money and less clothes!"

Anyone doing a convoy to montreal this year? Debating whether to drive the f-car or not, is there safe f-car parking...? Any good fun routes up there. any good places to stop along the way?

Hanging out in St. Paul de Vence near Nice with family next 2 weeks or so. Don't know if I'll get a chance to buzz over to Monaco at all.
