I ordered the F2006 248 F1 Michael Schumacher car from these guys back in September, I was told that it was back ordered and that they were expecting it in october. In November I was told that mattel wasn't giving them answers either. Fast forward to December I shot them an email asking about the car and a possible refund and I didn't hear anything back. Any help would be appreciated on what I should do or who to contact there.

I can't believe there's a back order on them. I bought mine through Grand Prix Legends w/ the presentation plaque and received it about 3 weeks ago. They have excellent customer service. When ordered items are to be delayed, they send letters keeping you informed every step of the way. They even called me , from London to let me know my Barraca WW1 plane would be late.

Never heard of those folks. Speed Gear has a HW 1:18 MS for $60. I've bought quite a few models recently from www.grandprixlegends.com and from www.warm-up.it and have had exceptional dealings with both sources.

Hopefully you haven't paid for the model before receiving same - I'll call them and just tell them to forget it. You could always give them the benefit of doubt that the email got lost in the large email black hole.

That model is available via several other sources.

    Good Luck

I called and asked about the model and they are still saying that mattel is to blame by not meeting their deadlines. I am just going to give them the benefit of the doubt and give it a little more time.

I may have a lead. I just checked my bank statement and they never took money out until today so it may be that they just got the car in. I am going to call tomorrow to see what the progress is.

I finally got the model today and it looks great. I almost don't want to take it out of the box to put in my display cabinet.
