Any Fchat F40 owner's in Houston ?

I assume there may be a few around but do they mess with this forum? It sure would be nice to see one at an event and BEG for a ride in what I consider the greatest Ferrari ever.

i know of a small group who were going to offer him some $$ for the car and then restore it.

 

Jim "Mattress Mac" McIngvale uses it to draw people to see his showroom, he's got one of Elvis' cars, Jeff Gordon's NASCAR, indoor putting course, play center for the kids, etc... The place has been seen to believed. He makes his money on people financing furniture & TV's, it's quite an operation. I was told it one of the first few into Houston back when the market was nuts on these cars, he wanted now so he paid the premium. I'm sure the car is just a write off to him.

I guess it's time to give ol Mac a car and let him know it's time to blowout the cobweb's once again.

 

I don't think he would sell it at any price. The dude does $250 million in sales each year. He probably would of laughed at a $500K offer even though the car has been sitting for three years.

 

He made a commercial delivering a mattress tied to the roof of a TR, remember?

There was that coke addled doctor in River Oaks, 'Eric the Red' they called him, he used so many blood units in surgery, not many can splatter the walls in OR, they disbanded him after he killed a few people in surgery......not disbanded, wrong word but you know......

None of the folks above are chatters.......FCA Chapter does have a F40 owner that makes the parties......I have not met him.
