Any FEMALE Ferrari Techs?

    I have tried google searching a million times to find any other female Ferrari techs in the US and I can't come up with any results! I have been told there are a few around (Cali. and Fl.) and I was interseted to see if any of you Fchatters know of these skilled ladies? I am currently learning the demanding trade of Ferrari mechnaics and would enjoy greatly to contact other females in this position. BTW- The most common responce from men about female techs are 'they are fat, manly, and hairy'.....this is NOT always the case!! Anyways, If anyone has info. I would appreicate it!! Thanks much-

    Well if you want info on if they are fat, manly, and hairy I can't help you there because I have never met a female mechanic, yet alone a female Ferrari mechanic. :D

    Seeing Niki in action at the shop, i can say that she is FAR from Fat, manly and hairy. she is quite competent and trained from the best (Mr. Helms). Chelle in chicago has quite the history of restoring exotic autos - i dont recall her username on Fchat. Chelle has a rebody GTO among other cars, and does all her own work

    It comes from good authority when NIKI was born there was excessive hair on her back and neck for a newborn.

    NIKI, did you ever finish that SLIM FAST diet shake (IN PHOTOGRAPH) ? Is it easier to get in the F40's and Mondials now?

    Yeah, I finished it. It is alot easier to fit in F40's now(see profile)......I DONT work on Mondials!!!

    A local shop here in Vegas I have used has a female mechanic that now is part owner, they mostly do BMWs and Porsche but has worked on my Ferrari before, not a certified Ferrari tech though. I began using her years ago with a old 911 I had, I like her becuase she is very careful, patient, and thorough and I trust her to not damage things.

    Isn't that the chic who works for Ferrari as their new driver becuase they have got their cars so light that they needed more ballist to meet weight reguirements. I'm sure I've seen her on the Ferrari Owners Site next to Micheal S shaking his hand, or was shaking all of him, I can't remember. Regards, Vern

    What are the requirements for becoming a Ferrari Tech? I obviously assume you need a pretty good mechanic background, but how does even get considered for such a position?

    Chelle goes by.....Chelle! She's in IT actually, IIRC with the government.

    You may be it Nikki, now put that motorcycle away or you won't GET any older! ;)

    Dr. Kat in AZ can do her own maintenance as well, but she reads brain scans and such in a normal day, so I think it's GOOD to be multi-talented!
