I plan on taking the Modena on the new high speed ferry that will be running between Toronto & Rochester,NY this summer and wonder if there will be any Ferrari related events occuring in the upstate New York area that I could attend. Anyone?

Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, The FCA Empire State Region is having its annual Watkins Glen Drivers Ed Track Days. Always a good event. The Glen/Corning is about 90 minutes from Rochester. If you need information contact Bob Coates (FCA Regional Director) at [email protected].

Do you mean, that they have instructional classes on track driving on those days. What cars are availible, if you don't bring your own. Could you bring your own?

Just go down to the NYC events. That's what I do/did.

I've just returned from the FCA Watkins Glen event held on 5/12-13. All FCA Drivers Ed events include classroom instruction for Beginners and Novices as well as trained instructors to take you on the track. Your own car. They do not provide cars, however they provide all the training and instruction. While the FCA would prefer you bring a Ferrari (if you have one), if you are a member, you can bring other marques as well. Your car must pass a tech inspection; to begin with you need no more than a helmet, long sleeves and long pants. Again, they are great events -- a great way to get started. Please give Bob Coates a call or e-mail.
