I work at another luxury brand dealership right now that deals quite a bit with Ferrari's and takes them in to our shop and sadly our Ferrari tech was let go recently and I have been slated to be his replacement. I have some basic Ferrari experience thus far with services and basic repairs but for the most part, our previous Ferrari tech worked on his own with no interaction with the other techs in our shop.

I was helping him out here and there and gaining lots of experience along the way but he was let go from the company suddenly and his 30 years of experience are gone as well. I have a feeling I am going to be thrown to the wolves in the future in regards to working on our Italian cars and client cars, I am sure I can fight through it but I was wondering if there is any way either a tech or some of the community members can give me a quick run down of common issues with the modern V8 Ferrari car as that is our primary client base.

I have loads of experience on Aston Martin, Bentley, Porsche, and sportscar racing ( gt3 cup cars) and just the basics with the Italian cars but most of my experience will transfer over without a doubt, just need to be pointed in the right direction since it seems your Italian cars seem like a different ball game all together.

I found an online resource for most of the service manuals for the F cars up till 458 so that is not an issue. I was kind of hoping for a list of Ferrari specific tools that are worth purchasing and fairly common problem areas on the modern Ferrari cars (355 and up).

Thanks so much for any possible help you can share with me and hopefully I put this topic in the right area as it is my first day at here at Ferrarichat. I am looking forward to the challenges that the Italian cars will bring.
