Hi there all in Texas, I'm working on board a cruise ship that will start cruising outa Galveston. Any Ferrari's close there??Any Ferrari dealers to visit???
I was only thinking if anyone wanted to come for a visit over with their Ferrari's..to the ship..thats all. Thanx
I see. There's a pretty stong contingent of Ferrari folks down that way, perhaps they'll speak up. Please check your PMs Thanks T
What ship? What will you be doing on the ship? I know of a 'few' Ferrari's down that way, I will also pass the word.
He works on a BIG cruise line....I'm gonna take him up on one of the dates..... I haven't seen any Galveston Owners on here, but there are some in Galveston County, I know.......
Working on board a cruise ship at the moment and our home port will be from November Galveston,TX so bring your Ferrari's over hehehehehe
Well the November 13 date conflicts with the Big Blowout in New Orleans! You had three weekends didn't you?????
When I was in Galveston, Dr. Howard Eisenburg, chief of Neurosurgery at UTMB, had a silver 308....of course that was in 1986...
There may be a few there, but I can't recall many on the road. Galveston, like New Orleans has a LOT of "old money" behind closed doors. A car dealer there has a museum of Brass Era cars and such..... A new exotic would either be linked to recent Strand Street redevelopement or "commodities distrubution" in The Projects! Wait a minute, I was down there the other day, visiting old friends.........
I own a 348TB SS and live about 30 miles from galveston. However, not really sure about parking near the cruise ship terminals. If some VIP parking was available, I might be willing to come down for a few hours.
Also, don't take this the wrong way. But by looking at your picture, I'm not sure you will fit in my kevlar racing seats. It might be a snug fit.
I will ask and see how safe it is to park... I'm sure there is a VIP place..I'll find out on Monday and I'll let you know...
Whoaaaaahahahaha...no no no..I never take this thing in a wrong way. Only the fact that a Ferrari will come over and all 3000 people will look and see the visit is good enough for me hehehe... Maybe if you want to bring your girlfriend or something and come for a coffee it's fine by me... Will be nice to meet as many Ferrari owners in Texas as possible November 13th will be the date and its Saturday
Wasn't there one more date later in the month?? Ferrari French Quarter Classic in New Orleans is that date......... You can park by Willie G's and be pretty close to the Cruise Dock. By the Ellisa, Galveston's Tall Ship.........
Is Thanksgiving a Greek holiday? My best restaurant here is run by a cool Greek guy, he has a turkey with dressing every Friday...he made the front page of the Houston Chronicle last year on July 4, for his fervent US patriotism! George Mikalis, is his name....he knows everyone that comes in by name, no matter how long it's been...he teases me about knowing AJ Foyt, Jr. and for winning the Houston Texaco Grand Prix, that one time.....a really good guy!
I'll bring the car down on the 13th. I don't have any plans for that weekend. Email me. [email protected] Jeremy
