Does anyone living in summit or eagle county own a ferrari that they keep up in the mountains??? obviously , winter would be a hiberation peroid for the ferrari but the summer, fall and spring would be great....i will be building a house in breckenridge this coming year and hope to move their 80% of the year in the next 3-4 years....hope to be able to bring a ferrari up to the high country at that time........

A fair number are in the area. I have mounted mud and snow tires on more than 1 TR in that area.

I assume you are talking about Colorado since UTah doesn't have an Eagle County. However, there are quite a few exotics in Summit County, Utah in a little town known as Park City.

I've seen an F430 with Eagle County (Colorado) plates. Saw it in Denver, though.

I can think of multiple Ferrari's and Lamborghini's in the immediate area, and at least three Carrera GT's.

I see more 996 turbo's here in the summer then at a freak'n dealership (993's on the other hand...)

Denver and surrounds has emission testing requirement. Eagle county does not. Folks with two residences register their cars in Eagle County so they won't have to go thru the hassle of emissions testing every two years. You just have to own property, not live there full time. Could be a rental, etc.

Jefferson County has it. Pitkin and substantially all mainly mountain counties do not.

    Ciao
