my list of FIAT's is quite long: I owned a nice darkblue 500 and had a lot of fun with it. Unfortunately the engine blew up right in front of a church .... so I stopped paying extra church tax in Germany. I also had a yellow COUPE 20V, 220hp, black leather interior - bloody quick and really nice to drive. Then I had a Marea 20V five cyl. Station Wagon followed by two Ulysse vans which were extremely usefull, chip tuned and also very reliable. Currently I drive a yellow chip tuned 3-door Fiat Stilo - 140hp 2.0l diesel engine with 310 on the torque. FIATs are cheap and reliable cars for my every day use and my next one will probabely be the new "Idea". -------------- Helmut Schnug Classics in Camera images of Historic Automobiles & MotorSport
Here two pictures of my '75 Fiat 124 spider 1800. I owned de car since 1994. Since my dother has her driving license the spider is frequendly gone! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I used to own a Dino Fiat Spider in 1990 and sold it after 6 months. I have finally got back in. Has been in storage for 30 years! One of the timing chains broke taking out the valve train and two piston tops. Luckily no coolant while stored, since they took the motor apart. I will start restoring it in early 2010. I will then start a separate thread on it with photos documenting the process. Can't wait to see the thread (and your restoration), started. Is that an Alfa Duetto Spider next to the Dino?
I imported this Fiat Abarth 850TC vintage racer with Autobianchi A112 70HP motor from Germany in 2007. In the one photo the car is an "honorary Fiat" since its engine was assembled by Fiat. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a 1970 Fiat 850 Special (sedan with Coupe engine and disc brakes), equipped with an A112 Abarth 70HP engine and a smattering of Abarth go-faster goodies (genuine Abarth OT steering wheel and sump, plus PBS Campy replicas, auxiliary radiator and FAZA 40mm lowering kit). Got a long way to go before the conversion is complete, with another restoration currently on the go (1968 Bond Equipe). Have previously owned 500's, a 600, 600T, 850 Sport Coupes, plus a Lancia Beta Berlina. Always looking out for a new project, especially from the States. Don't tell da missus! Cheers, Duane
We have a white Fiat Doblo' Cargo for our property in France. With 70bhp it isn't a rocket, but it has a big boot Image Unavailable, Please Login
