Looking to purchase soon, have a few questions. 1-How do they run in the summer heat? Any overheating issues or no? 2-During the PPI are there any areas I need to check for corrosion, or is that a non issue on a well sorted car? 3-Any recommendations for a PPI? Thanks.
No problems in the heat. AC works well too when properly serviced. Must park in the shade, or else dash leather falls apart. I have used F1 imports in Naples and Rick Hunt in Ft Myers. Both excellent. I have driven my 550 about 7000 miles in two years in FL. Get a battery tender. Corrosion is a non issue. Cooling hoses go bad. Engine mounts. Interior gets sticky. Leather cracks. Can all be exacerbated by heat. But engines do not overheat unless something is wrong. Good luck. Scott
