    Considering getting one for a winter toy only. Either a 500 or 55, most likely a 500 with high mileage to keep depreciation at a minimum. What are its best attributes? I love the styling of these things. My only complaint is the dull interior, which seems to always be a Mercedes trademark, LOL. Other than that I love it.

    I was in the same boat as you a couple years ago. I love the look of the G500 and always wanted one. Well the love affair lasted about 8 months. Was a solid truck and went just about anywhere but it was noisey, slow and terrible on gas milage. I knew this before I bought it and thought I could live with the negatives but i couldn't. Good luck.
