    For anyone interested,

    I have pics of 2 (1 yellow, 1 titanium) Gallardo SE's, and I took pictures of the number plates. They are 183 and 155, respectively. PM me if you would like me to email you pictures of the cars and number plates.

    Just as an FYI, SE's were randomly numbered and don't correspond with the VIN order.

    OK. I'm more of a Ferrari guy, but I know there are a lot of us that track the Enzos by their numbers and such, so I was curious to see if anyone did the same for these Gallardos.

    lamborghiniregistry.com has a small list. A few cars don't have the plates at all.

    So would that mean there are more then 250 Gallardo SE's made? I had heard that there was an extra one made for some reason 251/250.

    Yes 251 were built, but only 250 made it out in one piece. I was told the original #56 burned during its shakedown drive. I have the extra car that was built at the end. The first number plate only had the VIN and Specially Built For Lamborghini Carolinas engraved. The new plate that was installed has 56/250 plus the other information engraved. Lamborghini S.P.a put up a tough battle with that one.

    That's very interesting. It makes since that your username goes with that. The full 250 had already been ordered, and #56 burned before you recieved it, so the extra one was made for you to replace #56.

    Edit: Does yours have the same color combo/options that #56 had?
