    I am in the Bay Area for some work for a couple months and wanted to know if there are any recommended diecast / slot car stores here.

    Thanks guibo - I visited djhobby & slotcarsunlimited today :)

    Bought myself some 1:32 slots - Sauber F1 2003, Minardi F1 2002, JPS Lotus - fittipaldi and bizarrely a Dodge Charger RT :)

    Will try some of the others next week :)

    There's a new place in downtown San Carlos called "Legend's Die Cast". They're still fairly new, have limited hours and such, but the owner was pretty nice when I went in. He's got 5 or 6 Exoto Ferrari F1s...not sure if they were for sale or not.
