I need to do some work on the multi function steering wheel stalk switch. Is there any hints or secrets I need to know or do. I have a three jaw puller and the special socket, any other special tools required? Thanks.

And take care not to rip off horn wire, it snags easily when steering wheel is moved aft.

Also, if I recall..keep track of that small column locking pin that fits in the keyed slot. It might just fall on the floor without you noticing until your ready to re-asseemble. Jq.

If you don't mind ... could you take a couple of photos from the process and the tools? Would be very helpful!

This is more a general note about using a puller (and you may need the eared type, to bolt into the hub holes, rather than jaw type if the back of the hub doesn't have a sharp corner for the jaw ends to grab), but, if it's stubborn, don't just crank on the puller's threaded screw 'til something breaks -- tighten up the puller, and give a (light) rap to the back end of the puller's threaded screw with a hammer, re-tighten, re-rap, re-tighten, etc....

...I think the hard part is getting off the ring nut. Anybody know where to get the socket ? I completely buggered mine up thru the process, I'd be embarrassed to show the pics...Lee
