Patrick, my motor is back with IM so won't be able to gather this weekend BUT I am off to Zhuhai again on Sunday for the whole day driving the Elise round ZIC...
lets hope so but the brakes take 2 weeks to prepare. might not have it back even by then. we'll see how it goes. how are you getting on with your car? what exhaust/cats have you got? i've got to go to kowloon bay on saturday morning to drop off my audi and go check my 355 at IM. if you want to meet up and maybe give us a lift from DCH to IMSS.... and maybe even back to my place in Clear Water Bay...
hey how come it takes so long to fix? anyway what are you gonna put, i guess larger disc and what about caliper? mine?? i bought mine for about 3 weeks now but only driven it twice last sat and sun, i dropped it back to the shop again on mon to fix up a few things ie. brake, aircon was working either....i am still using the stock cat and exhaust what time this sat, i need to work on sat morning.....i am free in the afternoon, after 1 pm
they are busy and i told them i don't need it back right away. it's going in for brakes (hoses, fluid, front calipers and front discs, rear discs grooving), HID fitment, oil change, bodywork polish. can't do sat afternoon. will have to do it the following weekend.
what sort of brake upgrade are you looking for? the 355 challenge brake system as suggested by some here or other type?
Hi Patrick! I will go out every Sunday AM to drive and chat with some friends (some are f-chatters), unless the weather is bad or I have something else to do or out of town. So, I expect to go out this Sunday. We typically end up in Shek O. Occassionally, we will go over to Lok Gang or the airport. So, if you want to join, feel free to PM me with your cell number and I can reconfirm. Tony, guess it's going to take a little while before your 355 is ready to pound the pavement. way hey... ben just called, my car is ready. they'll fit the full brake set in a couple of weeks when it arrives. they've done the fluid change and HID and MOT inspection. picking it up from IM tomorrow morning. trouble is i won't be here on sunday morning.....

heh, i'd rather be thrashing round ZIC in my race car than HK in my 355. i've just seen one 355 smashed up, would rather not see any others... gonna pick it up first thing in the morning after i drop off my audi.
Yeah, I've seen a 355 crash right in front of my eyes not too long ago. It wasn't a bad crash and the car was still drivable afterwards. It had some nasty scrapes and bodywork damage on 1 side. The road was wet then. It's going to be cold and maybe wet again this weekend. So, drive safely Tony. Hope to see you next weekend. Patrick, I will ring you tomorrow regarding the details.

No problem! The more the merrier! They don't need to own an F-car to join, heck, they don't even need to own a car to join. Some of us can offer rides. All that's required is a passion for cars. I live in the NT, where are you and your friends coming from?

Shek O is likely to be destination. You and I can meet up at Kowloon Bay HITEC, and we can then go over to Shek O from the Chaiwan direction. Your friends can meet up across the fire station that's located right after we get off the Shek O exit of the highway.
