    Hello all in W.NC

    As we drive back from picking up my Mondial next week, my daughter and I are planning an overnight or two in Lake James, NC. i'd like to find her a hotel with a pool and a view of the lake for myself, does anyone know of such a place? I've been googling but nothing so far, just cabins.

    Hey Daniel. I emailed camp lake James earlier this evening to see about availability, I presume I'll hear back from them tomorrow.

    Regarding C&C in asheville that's good news I love that town, but at this point I'm not making any firm plans considering my drive back because I have little confidence until I'm actually driving it out of NY and making it to NC. I guess as each mile passes I'll be able to start to commit to get together's and reservations on points of interest .

    I'll let you know as the week progresses and my fingers become uncrossed. .

    I could be wrong but my impression is that lake mainly has houses and rentals. I did enjoy a nice ride around the Powerhouse road recently.
