I recently entered the Hummer world with a 2001 H1. I don't have any pics yet. Who else here is a Hummer owner? Let's see some pics of H1/H2's.

    Jerry,

You got the car already buddy? I need to come down and trade rides with you. TT for H1? LOL :D As far as F chat owners, I know Frank Parker's wife owns a fake one, I mean H2. (just kidding frank) :D

Our own Ben, owned a bunch of H1, you can talk to him about them, as he seems well experienced in their off road capabilities. :) http://www.slantback.com/

Good luck with it, and this time dinner is on me. :)

Uro - A So Cal F-Chatter hooked me up with a shipping company that did the job - I cancelled the first company after 20 days of nothing happenning. I have pics from the Auction, but don't have any pics of my own yet. Will need to take some "Wide Angle" shots with the TR. :) Thanks again for your PM the other week & also welcome back from your "time out".

lafun2 - You are always welcome here - Would like to see you again & that TT!! And yes, I will trade you, lol. Thanks again for your offer to drive it down from NY for me.

Murph - I guess I like big butts. :) The H1 was 20" wider than my neighbors Explorer (From a very non-scientific measurement).

    Finally some pics!

Very nice - I dig that H1 and those H2 SUT's are pretty cool. I was debating between the H1 and the H2 SUT in Stealth Grey.

Why does the term "stealth grey" somehow seem funny when describing a Hummer?? :)

"where, I don't see any Hummer?"

I always like the stealth gray color because it looked blue.

Yah - Don't think it comes that color though... Maybe I just need to get an Azzurro California Blue F-Car to match the H1??? Now if only I could track down that Azzurro 512TR. :)

Aug's old Azzurro 328 is in my neck of the woods now.... If only I were made of money - Would love to have that car.

You are not fooling anyone Jerry. First the 328. Then you get the bubble TR. 2 Ferraris for a while, amongst the Rovers and the Lexus in the garage. Now the H1 for a daily driver. Not made out of money? DAMN RIGHT! You are made out of GOLD!! :D :D So when are you ordering the VIper?

Btw, I don't like the stealth grey. The H1 like a lambo, imho is a in your face mode of transport. I like the yellow/red H1s the best. Its like a punch in the face of a Toyota Prius driver.

    Bring it on!!! :D :D :D

Ryan - Reading your post, I think I figured out why I am broke!

You must really hate the baby blue color of my H1 then. :)

Hey I want to be broke like you then!! :D :D

No, I don't hate the color of the H1 at all. How can you hate a H1 or Lambo at all. They are true excess in every sense of the word, and being raised in Los Angeles, I love it :D :D :)

I really admire the fact, that you are one of the 2 accountants I know (Dale being the other) that really lives outside of the box.

Its fun to see you get wild and crazy, albeit with subdued colors, and not drive the stereotypical E500 or Lexus ES or whatever accountants drive (mine has a Tahoe).

Keep it up Jerry. Remember, when its time to move on up, maybe I will give the blue thing a try. Keep that in mind ;)

I sold my black H2 after only a month and a half...spray painted, keyed etc...
Besides, the unit on the video above is more functional.

I luv 'em. A white H2 is on the wish list to replace my 18-year old Blazer. Much like exotics though, still pictures don't do them any justice. They're meant to be seen going down the road. Plus if there's no road to follow, they'll make their own...

I almost bought an old military HMMWV slantback (part of the serial # was 26, I can't remember), it was pretty wide and fun to drive offroad.
But man was is bare basics and striped down to almost nothing compared to an H1, CS's and 360 Challenges are luxuriuos compared to a HMMWV.
It was only 27K, bad had starting problems and smelled bad so I passed
