There are a few odd things about that wheel. First of all, it might just be the photo, but it looks as though it's bulged out in the center. Secondly, I've never seen a Dino wheel that had Ferrari embossed on it. Mine have only "Cromodora" and "Dino" (see photo). Thirdly, it doesn't have the 3 projecting tabs that hold the center cap in place. I might have thought it to be a Fiat Dino wheel, if not for the Ferrari name. Someone here can probably identify it.

I actually had one of those as a spare rim, in one of my early 308GTBs...maybe a Universal Fitment?

I was so put out it didn't match the road wheels I gave it away!

That was long before I realized how many variations on "original wheels" there were!!!

    couple hundred bucks at most.

    tons of these out there.

And that's assuming it's for the 246. Although they did come with different markings depending on the year of the car, as I recall.

Pretty sure that is a 308GT4 spare tire rim. Traded on to Rutlands a while back.

That would explain mine, as at one point it garaged alongside at GT4, of the same year....

Thank you for all the input, I am more of a Lambo guy and really in the dark when it comes to the majority of Ferrari stuff.
I will try to take some more pics of the wheel, but i am pretty sure it looks real close to yours. Yes it has the FERRARI insignia embossed right in the rim so I would have to believe it is 100% Ferrari. Regarding the center cap my rim has a groove in the back of the rim where a snap ring may hold the center cap. I will take a picture of that and post. Thanks again for the help.

That may be a much later wheel, it's 16"?? I was trying to read the casting stamp..

I'm thinking 308QV space saver spare, at this point..

Selling it to TRutlands may be the way to go, if no one needs it here....

This is the space saver spare for an early 308 GT4 or 308 GTB - as fitted to my cars. My 246 gt has a normal sized spare - the early gt4's and gtb's don't have room for a full sized spare - only this space saver. What's it worth? I think you'll have to try ebay but post the question in the 308 forum.

If this is the case, would the moderators mind moving this thread over to the 308 section?

any idea what i should ask for it?

Just curious, why would they put Dino embossed in the rim?

The original Dino was a 206, then came the 246.

    A 308 GT4 is a Dino, as well.

    Cheers,
    Ross
