    So today out driving I noticed this light flashing, never done before....at first I thought it was the lights in the garage flickering as I saw the light hitting the window controls... but noticed it was coming from the top console (pic attached). stopped when car was off, immediately started when car turned on

    I sold my 458 years ago so this is a WAG. Is that the hazzard flasher button?

    No, it is a small light next to the lock/unlock button. Not dome lights, just very small white light...the black triangle I added to show where to look

    It's a night illumination light, comes on when your headlights are on or when the sensor turns to night lights. It will flicker for years then burn out.
