thanks, ah yes, the search;am still feeling my way around the blog;thanks much; found some info there as you stated; car seems to need a lot but maybe I can rescue it. Will let you know. Color is an off white and by the color swatches I see in blog seems to be an original color, however,earlier seller stated it was repainted sometime in early 2000's; have not seen this color in other pics on line-maybe rare color?
It was for sale on eBay in August, 2005, through a private seller in Baldwin City, KS, white with black interior. Then it was on eBay again, June, 2011, through a private seller in St. Louis, 30,259 miles, white with black interior, $27,400. The auction ended 29 June 2011, and indicated that it sold for $21,000. The auction also dictated that the car was repainted about 11 years ago, always stored indoors and covered, no rust, automatic transmission built 800 miles ago. The seller was the owner (so not a broker or third party); this was his first Ferrari and he owned it for about 10 years; at the time, he was also selling his black/tan Mondial t Cabriolet (82498) on eBay at the same time.
found this with a simple car fax;just fyi first registration 11/83 in Dallas,TX; then 7/15/1991 in Palmdale CA with 43,216 mileage; 3/7/2010 MO registration ; strange that the CA registration shows 43K miles but at sale as listed above by 134282 having 32K miles;car now still shows only 90 more miles than 32K miles; maybe speedo was changed?
