Heard reference to this during the China F1 race. Anybody else catch that?

They are probably talking about an F1 car with 3 seats. I remember seeing an Arrows 3-seater a few years ago. I know McLaren has a 2-seater, where driver and passenger sit in tandem. Can you imagine riding shotgun with Schumey at the wheel?

We were fortunate to have seen up close the three seater in the Cliente area when we attended the Owner's F1 Test Day in Maranello this past April (no photos allowed). Cool car, you have to be pretty small to fit into one of the side pod seats. Ruben's is taking his father, sister and some other family members for a ride in it. That would be one spectular ride for sure. As I recall, one of the major sponsors owns the car which is used for publicity purposes. We went back to the same area about a week after Test Day and the car was totally covered and you weren't even allowed into the room where it was located. Very fortunate experience for us.

I want a ride! RB is giving his family all rides before he leaves the team.

Sato can ride back there and not f-up anyone else's race. And Whine P can backseat drive the other two.
Or, they're expanding Corse Clienti to the infirm, room for nurses?
Or, Eddie or Nige are coming back, and they needed room for their egos??

Does anyone have any idea what kind of lap times something like that could do. I mean would it be even slower than say a Minardi?? I imagine with the extra weight and most likely much lower levels of grip it would turn something like 10-15 seconds a lap slower. Or am I even in the ballpark???
