I'm in the market for a 2004 Gallardo (already in communication with Cats Exotics). But wanted to see if anyone had any info (good or bad) on the following cars or dealers:

    04' Yellow - 5.4k Miles

    04 Silver - ~7K miles

    04 Yellow. Price not listed.

Lambo of Orange County also has 2 Silver 04's.

One more quick question, is extended warranty available on Gallardos? If so, which company to go with? Is it worth it?

Sell your M3? This is quite the upgrade though. Good stuff!

M3 and C5 both. And yea, it's a nice upgrade. Honestly, I love the M3 and the Gallardo feels like a slightly bigger and way more powerful M3 :)

Is the market on 2 year old Gallardos really in the low 140K range? That seems pretty cheap to me...I am holding out hope that they will eventually get into a price point that a mere motral like me could talk the wife into it.

Friend had negotiated an 04, silver, e-gear, ~5K miles down to upper-mid $130's (plus financing through dealer) deal but he passed on it for some reason.

That could not have been an A+ car, at that price.

Actually I sold my 04 (Octber 03 build - so really early Gallardo) at 2 years old and 6.5K miles (Silver, Manual - but all other options except the clear bonnet - they didn't have that on the early 04's)

I sold mine due to the G Spyder coming in this past May... I sold it for 140K - and it was perfect...

The good news is you can get them for at or just below 140K privately for the early 04 with some good healty miles. 6 or 7K miles in these cars are really nothing like the exotics used to be (you almost need to think like Porsche on these).

The bad news is that my G Spyder is still not here and I am dying for my car 3 months later. I should have just held onto it until it arrived. These delays on the Spyder have killed my time line. Mine is now supposed to be in - any week now... Of course they have said that since February... :)

It's hard to understand why you were promised it in February, and it's still not here ???? :(

Cosmetically it was fine, it had one scrap under the front left from a driveway or parking lot. He claimed it had a Burtoni exhaust on it as well. I never drove it though so I couldn't tell you if it drove fine...it did start without a problem and it sounded nice with the exhaust. The dealer seemed like he REALLY wanted to move it for some reason...said that it had just been sitting too long for him. It was a non-Lamborghini dealer though. He even went as far as showing his slip from Manheim showing that he was offering it for a price lower than what the slip claimed he paid for it. I couldn't figure it out as to why he offered it for $137Kish. I just assumed that he was going to make money on the loan instead of on the car and he really wanted to move the car before the end of the season. He did later sell the car for $140K+ to a buyer about a week after my friend passed on the car.

Another idea is to wait till March 07' and buy an 05' or 06' model. Summer's pretty much over in the midwest so I wouldn't really be able to drive the car anyway. Do you guys think the 05's model will be in the $140's by March? Thoughts?
