I have been planning on selling my Mondial and upgrading to a 360. (Coupe, non-red, F1 transmission.) Although my plan was for the 360 purchase to happen this coming Spring, I just saw this ad:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/459661-2000-ferrari-360-20k-miles-f1-2-owner-atlanta.html

Does anyone know this car? I will contact the seller this evening (or possibly tomorrow), but wanted to check here first. Honestly, it looks like a "price is too good to be true" deal to me, but you never know. (See the story over in the Mondial forum about the guy who just bought a 3.2 Coupe for $2000...)

    Thanks.

Well it sure looks nice but you might be into it for 65+ by the time you get the clutch replaced and shipped to your home. Fantastic deal if it is as advertised.

The clutch will need a couple of new pieces that will increase the price of the new clutch. Still will be a good price on the car. Make sure you budget for the new clutch.

At that price ($59,500) and cost of a new clutch some time soon that is a good deal. Not sure about the foam coming out of the vents though. If that becomes a big problem then AC removal (including dash removal) will be a big expense. Get a PPI before making a decision- $350 well spent even if you don't buy.

I was looking at this car too. Local for me. At 80% clutch wear, would the flywheel require replacement too?

Why so much on the heat exchanger replacement? Mine wasn't that much with the Ferrari dealer doing the repair...

His failed and put transmission fluid in the coolant and vice versa -- needed a lot of flushing. I paid around $1800 (with FCA discount) to have mine replaced as a precautionary measure.

He post on a different thread. They ended up replacing all his lines which is why the price was significantly more. When they did mine, they had to flush everything 4 - 5 times...
