Hello, Does anyone have any thoughts or insight as to why both of my fuel pumps would of developed a leak over the winter months? The car is stored in a well insulated garage where temperatures do not get near the 0 mark, let alone the point at which fuel freezes. After pulling the pumps, inspecting and testing them they both appear to be leaking from the seam on the outlet end. I have two new pumps on order, they should be here soon... but just curious what you folks think. Thanks for the input.
Possibly water in the tank ( condensation) migrated down there , froze and split the pumps. All it takes is once.
