Hope it's the SF - I want to know how you like the paint, very close to using that color on XX but I think it's a better Spider color than coupe.

 

We're in the 2nd quarter so they will want to get it released ASAP so they can get funds from the dealership.

 

Will let you know ASAP and happy to take tons of pics of the color…

Pacific Northwest. You should have better luck wit transport to soCal…lots more trucks. Let’s see.

 

Just received my VIN number. Dealer said I’m at 10R. He estimates it will be here in 4 months. Was beginning to think the car would be in my estate for the kids.

0 YEAR - THE EARTH COOLED AND FERRARI LAUNCHED THE SF90

• 4/4/2021 Initial deposit and MODIS load

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF DEPOSIT

• 7/04/2022 “cricket symphony”
• 08/2022 "SF90 spider production has been almost non-existent thus far. 2023 production should start to see 'regular' production."
• crickets playing at the philharmonic in the background, all quiet
• 02/2023 Finalize the configuration, "Let's lock it down. Best information I have is that we will get one more SF90 Spider allocation for 2023 - which will be yours. Soonest Q3 production, latest Q4 production"
• 03/2023 "OK, we Received 1 allocation for July. It might make delivery while your out of country in October, so do you want it or wait for next allocation?"
• 03/2023 yes, I want it. Incremental final deposit made. All locked in on final configuration. Added Purasangue deposit for good measure.

2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

• 05/2023 "It's currently showing 10G status. All-in and accepted. Factory is getting materials and planning." no committed production date.
• 07/2023 "Nothing so far, 10G status" (Not sure what happened to 'July')
• 11/2023 "VIN assigned, status 10R"
• 11/2023 "Build in November/December" then transport to New Jersey. Then transport to dealership. Delivery Feb/Mar 2023
• 11/15/2023 "completed stage 20, now at 30"
• 11/22/2023 "finished paint, now in assembly (stage 40)"
• 11/29/2023 My first production picture pops on MyFerrari with email notification
• 11/30/2023 stats 70 - it’s “Built”
  
  
• 01/19/2024 dealer update: “MODIS is still showing “stage 70” = testing. This means assembly is complete. This has been our same status since prior to the holidays - which is likely due to factory & logistics being idle for the holidays.Typically we see status transition from 70 to 90, without a stop in 85 status (warehouse). It’s a bit too early to know for sure, but once we go 90 status it’s usually 45-60 days to arrive in NJ and clear Customs then trucking to dealer”

3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

• 04/02/24 status 90: dealer says it’s in customs in New Jersey and should be offloaded next week
• 04/10/2024 “Any news?” Nope, still 90. Novitec wheels, spoiler, exhaust tips showed up waiting for car.
• 04/23/2024 TODAY - “Look what showed up on a truck today!”

Delivery date set next week! 37 months from the start. Final mods completed. Looks great in shop photos sent be the dealer…I can’t wait to see it in person.

What an amazing spec! I would do this myself if I was that bold lol. Stripes are incredible. Would love to see more of them. To my eye they really draw out the lines on the car. Congratulations!

 

Kind of getting worried over my car. Its been on Status 60 since April. I was told its probably moved but MODIS isn't updated. We've reached out to the factory to see what the status is. Anyone else experience a "stuck" car?

 

My car is still on the water. It’s supposed to be at the dealer mid to late August. Here are the details regarding production:

4/15 - VIN

5/6 - 30 Painting

5/7 -40 body work

5/20 - 50 assembly line

5/23 - First photo

5/27 - Second photo

5/31 - 60 Finishing

6/13 - 90

6/21 - Final Photo

 

Thanks for that. I got my first photo and Status 60 on April 7th. My VIN was in, in like February.

Nothing since.

 

This stuff drives me crazy. It’s not that difficult to provide more transparency for those ordering these cars. My dealer claims they only know what the computer has regarding the status. With computerization there should be better data.

 

Agreed man, after a certain amount of time that passes, I would want them to dig further. We are supposed to hear back Monday. But at this points it approaching 4 months.

Here's another weird event: I got my key box for the car already.

 

So quick update, and pretty rough. After getting my VIN in Feb, got the Status 60 Photo on April 7th. I just got my second picture today.

Dealer said there were delays and car will depart by end of September and be here in December.
