Any known SF90 Spider production delays?

My final build was last June and delivery to dealer was the end of December. Received final build pic from Ferrari in mid September. Car sat in NJ port for about 5 weeks.

 

I am status 90… dealer thinks maybe 3 mos?

Surprisingly - Spider gap lines hood doors even the paint were all good.
Picked it up a week later - perhaps dealer fixed any issues.
812 Comp arrived same with one long scratch / misaligned panels.

 

For those of you who have received your SF90 Spiders - or who's cars have been built - can you please advise as to when you placed your deposit with your dealer and when your allocation actually came thru?

 

If I remember correctly…
December 2021: deposit
Nov. 2022: TM spec appointment
Sept. 2023: VIN, production
Feb. 2024: status 90 complete
April-May 2024: pending delivery

So I’d say 2 1/2 yr from deposit to delivery

WOW looks amazing.

I just got my VIN, looks like June Production, hopefully sooner.

As a follow up - I noticed a lot of white SF90 Spiders, which is what I ordered. Not that it will be a commonly seen car, but something I just observed. My current Stradale is in white as well.

 

My thought process - black roof shrinks the car while white body adds bulk.
For some reason the factory did not add the lower lip in carbon -CF should sharpen up the top nose. Novitec also makes it for around 6k, Basically balancing the car like the AF rear aero.

I like that front lip in carbon. I asked for it from TM but it was JUST coming out. Will have to add it at some point.

 

Tempted to order Novitec and be done - guessing 1/2 of Ferrari and won't be a year.

 

On a side note, beautiful garage flooring… what type is it?

Thanks, Better pic showing the porcelain from Dal Tile - copied from old stone.
Then sealed the grout - I can pour oil or gas on it and it wipes clean.

I got pic in mid September and car arrived at the end December. Car is broken now. Dealer picked it up and thought they fixed it, but Dealer broke it as well. Car info sent to Ferrari last week for their help.

 

that's certainly disappointing. Hope you get satisfaction from FNA.

 

Thanks all, so looks like August - September delivery hopefully.

Would be great to clip some of the summer months, but fall/autumn is great around here too.

ALSO - I received an update from the dealer and he said I am "Status 50." And he'll find out what the means for delivery for me. I'll keep you guys posted.

 

4/2/24 status 90: dealer says it’s in customs in New Jersey and should be offloaded next week

 

Received second production pic Dec 26. Car has been status 70 since beginning of January with no word why it hasn't changed status for four months...

 

Is that per your dealer - ? Should be on the boat and dealer can track it.
My Puro was near that date and it's due in next week.

 

Yep per my dealer. Dealer hasn’t received any update either.

They’re thinking it could be an issue with one of the Tailormade items on the car, maybe a quality control issue.

 

Update, mine has crossed the pond and landed, so needs to clear customs…so guessing a few weeks.

Mine has been stuck in stage 60 for more than 45 days.

Took 10 weeks from that status for my SF.
Puro two months and still doesn't show it leaving Port - unfortunately 2 -3 months is typical
