My friend, Mario, is interested in a yellow 360 (see here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-360-1999-Ferrari-360-Modena-w-Xenon-lights_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a7Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem390044308867QQitemZ390044308867QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks) that is for sale by Global Motorcars of Houston. The car does have higher miles, but Mario intends to use it as a daily driver so it isn't as big of a concern and the car seems to be priced well. Mario contacted Ferrari of Houston to follow up on service records to be sure the car is up to date, and is waiting to hear from them. If all checks out he should be good to go. I am posting this thread to see if anybody has had personal experience with this car, and can relate any of it's past history to see if there are any skeletons in this Modena's closet. Thanks for the help!

Haven't seen or heard about the car.

Looking at the pics, there are lot of things that I don't like ...

    - Engine bay looks filthy. Are those airboxes stock?
    - Ugly Wheels - stock would be much better
    - Audio speakers - yuck
    - High miles - nothing wrong with that per se as long as you price accordingly.

    Body/Paint looks good.

Make sure the car has decent service records. I would personally skip and look elsewhere.

I think I've seen this 360 around periodically throughout the years. IF it's the same one I'm thinking of (it was yellow with rims just like that), it would have been driven semi daily by a younger guy that had an association with a used "exotic" dealership, not necessarily the owner, but maybe a close friend as he was in a few different exotics throughout the week. Maybe the same car, maybe not. But if its a good price, and is going to be used as a driver, and a PPI checks out, who cares if it isn't completely stock.

That is exactly what Mario is thinking. Yes, the air box covers aren't great looking but they could easily be changed back to stock. Just waiting to hear from FofH to find out about service intervals as Global Motorcars said records weren't present in the car.
