They are a superb company. I have dealt with them and recieved the parts within two days (I am Uk based). I have heard great things also from parts being sent across the pond.

The company changed hands when the original founder retired. Which I thought would be the end of the excellent service. But they now have extended their range to Mondials etc..., and they are still as good, also the prices are very competitive

I have purchased parts from them and a friend of mine here in NewZealand also gets bits from them and we have had no problems and everything arrives within a week of placing the order. My Dino came from the U.K and was the personal property of Mike the old owner of Superformance and has several of their parts on it all of which are of of excellent quality. I would say dont worry at all about dealing with them.

I have ordered a number of parts from Superformance for the Dino (most recently a clutch cable), and have always been extremely impressed by their reasonable pricing, excellent service, great communication, and fast trans-Atlantic delivery. I recommend them very highly!

+2 or 3 or whatever. They are good to deal with. Watch what you are ordering though, a lot of thier stuff is for GT4's not 308's. I think they've got them pretty well separated now though. Oh and don't buy the door sill either. I don't know what they are for but they don't fit my 308.

I placed an order a few days ago on-line and recieved an automated response confirming the order but aside from that I got squat, no email by a person and no response from a follow up email yesterday that I made. I just would like to hear if they have everything I ordered, turn-around time etc so my experience with them isnt what I had in mind so far. Now if a package arrives at my house monday then ill be impressed or at least a real person replying to my email.

Thanks for the positive feedback, it makes me feel better.

If Mike has retired, I can't speak to current practices. But in the past I got a lot of parts I otherwise wouldn't have been able to find or would have had to pay more for from McCann or a dealership here in the USA. However, a few times, my order arrived missing some parts. I wasn't charged for them, but I also wasn't notified that they were out of stock. So I lost time I could have spent looking for the parts elsewhere and my projects were delayed. I also received parts I had to modify to fit (dino clutch kit for example) with no explanation of this necessity and no instructions included. When I called to say that the part seemed incorrect, I was told, "oh, the original type hasn't been available for years - you have to removed the locating dowels on the flywheel...". I wish they had told me that before since I thought I had received the wrong part and just put the engine back in with the used clutch assembly and planned to return the new one. Oh well. I also had to modify a window motor and Mike didn't believe me until I emailed pictures showing the shaft difference between the original and his item (he blamed it on "those Italians..." from whom he had sourced the unit). On the other hand, I should also mention that I once spoke with him on the phone about how to set up the cams on my rebuild and he was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to! (i was hesitant to use his vice grip method but marks on the cams showed a previous mechanic in italy must have done the same thing earlier in the car's life: http://www.3jar.com/fiat/dino/images/20_visegrips.jpg)

Also, when ordering ignition parts, I would caution that you verify that they are actual Marelli parts. I was sent an aftermarket rotor that ended up being too loose of a fit and before I noticed it it chewed up a rather expensive distributor cap and almost left me stranded hundreds of miles from home (luckily I remembered I had the old rotor in the trunk and swapped back to it and the car made it home fine). I ended up ordering ignition parts from Dennis McCann (www.allferrariparts.com) from then on.

Still a great resource with fair pricing and reasonably fast worldwide shipping. If communication issues have improved under new management, all the better.

I ordered all new suspension bushes, their uprated springs and fast steering rack and drive shaft gaitors and there was no communication, just the box with everything in it a few days later at my door. There is 1 out of 4 polyurethane anti roll bar bush that has a too small hole in it but I will drill it to the proper size.
I had ordered before in the past with same good experiences.
