I'm a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy Reserve, and a lot of my friends are into cars and motorcycles. I'm sure there are other Military Service members with 308/328's, but are there any that post on here? - Rusty

No longer in reserves. Miss it. Love 3x8's and most any F-cars. Had pictures of them in my locker in the service.

Yep - US Army SFC (E7) and have owned my '85 GTS QV for three and a half years now.

There are quite a few others, but I wont speak for them - I will let them pipe in as they want to.

Currently, I am in Afghanistan and up in Silver Subscribed I have a whole thread dedicated to my adventures over here.

    Rusty,

I'm retired Navy 1976-96. I enjoyed my active duty days ... boy does that seem like a long time ago now. Living in Virginia Beach, I still feel somewhat connected to the Navy with so much activity here. Best wishes in your career.

I'm a Navy Vet (1967-1979), which probably makes me the oldest on this site, but I'm willing to entertain challenges. I was a Data Systems Technician, a rating that no longer exists, and worked on NTDS, the predecessor to AEGIS. Made Chief (E-7) in just under 8 years.

I joined the USAF in 1959. Went to SAC and worked on B47's. I was in A&E in Oct 62, I told Patric all about it.

LTC, US Army, Infantry 1988-Present. I will own one someday, I made a deal with a member here with the caveat of "unless I get deployed" and that's what happened, I'm off to Saudi Arabia in a few months. I currently have a 2005 Corvette and Ducati to keep me happy.

Ex Royal Air Force. Restored my 308 when in the mob, fortunate enough I ran the motor club on base so had access to all equipment. Still involved with military as Allison Transmissions are in most mil vehicles and I am the sales manager for them.

Sgt. Just one year, when we were still drafting young men into the army here. (1995). Doesn't count for much in this company, I'd say...

Respect for all of you guys!!!

I love aircrafts, and I love fighters like the F-16, or the historical Aardvark F-111, F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-104, AV-8B... Or the modern F-117, F-35, F-22 or the prototype YF-23 Black Widow.
I wanted to become a fighter pilot, but was not possible because I was wearing correcting eyeglasses... Lots of envy... :)
