any news on the rumored 06 600hp gallardo and 530hp gallardo spider??

I heard the same rumor from a friend who plans on trading in for the spider. This doesn't seem to make sense for me why would they make the baby lambo have more power the the murcielago? doesn't seem like sound marketing to me unless the murcielago is supposed to get upgraded to 700hp.

 

An uprate is coming soon, but regardless of how much of a raw power upgrade it will be, Lambo will never allow the entry model to be faster then the flagship.

 

The 06 Gallarado will have 550 hp, the Murcielago will have 600.

 

06 Gallardo will have 520bhp, 0-100 in 4 sec and a shorter 1st gear.

 

so which is it? 520 or 550? Even 550 is getting very close to the 580 of the murcielago plus the gallardo has a weight advantage.

 

my turn , the 06 Gallardo will have the V10 Tdi engine boosted at 535 hp .

 

Where is the Gallardo info from? Every magazine article I saw about it stated in the paragraph afterwards that the Murci will also get a boost, ( Late winter issues of the Brits Car and Evo mags.) Close to 600 for the Gallardo, and possibly 700 for the Murci along with going to a rear wheel drive. That news followed by the 25 examples of the E-gear rwd Murci GTR? The GTR show car looked great in the ads, all unpainted black carbon bodied car with aggressive wing... Lambo really makes the most wild looking rides.

So far the only confirmed info is that the 2006 Gallardo Spider will have 520HP. It will have a top that functions as easily as the 430 spider; the tops are very similar in design. As for the Murci, there is a lot of speculation right now, but the only thing that seems likley is an increase in HP to just over 600, and maybe a face lift.

While this would be awesome don't you think such a substantial boost in power over such a short time (hasn't the murc only been out for 2-3 years now?) might hurt their marketing in the future. I mean 800hp for the murcis successor????

 

The gallardo rear window will be glass and not plastic like the F430. The glass will slide vertically down when you operate the hood.

 

Murci will see an increase in HP, somewhere around 20-30 HP.

 

I know for a fact the Murcielago RGT will be 700bhp RWD and there will be about 25 of them made total. The normal Murcielago production model will undergo some changes like body mods and more powerfull 600hp engine and i think they will drop the AWD and swich to RWD.

The Gallardo Spider will have about 520hp but that's all i know and the Gallardo S or SV is suppose to have the 550hp or 600hp engine.

Another thing i have been hearing about is a new model from lambo a 2+2coupe front engined espada remake or an SUV in the next few years.

Lamborghini should stop focusing on roadster models soooo much.

 

I don't think they should drop the roadsters.
L-cars (...) are definitly useless, so it makes sense to build roadsters, as they are per essence useless.

 

If L-cars are useless, then having sex is useless...
