Have a few new ponds that have formed in the back yard. A new river is flowing between our neighbor and us... but no ingress as far as the house goes.

Hey look! There goes a duck :)

No water in the house but I'm afraid my koi pond may soon crest washing all the fish into the yard.

My sister in law got a foot of water in her basement (Park Ridge), and they just finished remodeling.

I just finished remodeling my basement to put my house on the market and BAM! The sump pump died on saturday when i was out of town. Luckily my roommate caught it with only about 6 inches of water in the basement. I couldn't get home until last night, took today off of work to pull all my new carpeting and padding out. Only minor damage to the drywall, hopefully i can save it. Running the de-humidifier full bore and three box fans to try and dry out the basement.

    This really sucks....
