    I've been thinking it would probably be a good idea for me to get a look at my car while WWoC is preparing their estimate. Unfortunately, I'm tied up during the days for the rest of this week and then heading out over the weekend until the middle of next week. Justin at WWoC has said he can get it on a lift for me this afternoon if I wanted to get a good look at everything.

    So, if anyone has a couple hours free this afternoon to take a run up there, I'd appreciate it.

    If there ends up being a need for me to go there, I cannot do tomorrow but MAY be able to do Wednesday. Will know tomorrow afternoon.

    At the moment I have Rob going up there, though, and if things are pretty simple he can be my eyes.

    Rob just went up to check it out with Justin for me... turns out they hadn't gotten it up on the lift yet, but now that they have there's more damage than we guessed. So in short it's not going to be as fast or as cheap as one might have hoped, but:

    #1 - I'm still just fine :)
    #2 - Insurance is there for the $$ side
    #3 - Winter is here to make me not feel I'm missing out on much of the driving side.

    Thanks to everyone here who've helped out and otherwise made me feel supported. :)

    Sorry to hear that she's not in as good a shape as we hoped...but you're right on the positives, they FAR outweigh the negatives (other than the $$$ part, but thank goodness for insurance). Keep us posted Geoff...

    Yeah, but you're forgetting winter for me means way too much time skiing, trips to South America when I feel like it being summer again, and all kinds of other stuff that would ordinarily "interfere" with driving. :D

    And apparently my insurance coverage has a $3000 rental car allowance. Sounds good for a weekend ;)

    good news is the $ you save from putting OEM parts in will be great plus you get the benefit of straight pipes and stuff :)

    figure he needs to rent a ferrari to prevent withdrawl.

    By the way, my schedule just cleared out if anyone wants to to try to run up to WWoC with me today (probably this afternoon - but I need to call them to see). Today better than tomorrow for me.

    I'm in...just let me know when you plan to head up there. Unfortunately I'm already here in NJ just minutes away from WWoC...otherwise I would bring you out and back.
